A list of the most common Chinese radicals used in Simplified characters.

Through analysing our character frequency list we determined the top 96 radicals that we think are essential when learning Chinese.

Each entry includes 3 unique example characters, designed to showcase how each radical is used. We tried to choose the most relevant characters by taking into account their frequency, difficulty to write, HSK level and usage of the related radical.

All radicals and characters are shown with stroke order diagrams and practice writing blocks.

We have also included some extra drill sheets at the end of the book, plus two charts showing all Kangxi radicals and their variants. One in the original Kangxi order, the other ordered by strokes.
